Obviously very slow to do in an actual run, but the fight is very safe.
Get out of bounds with the help of a Metroid or do a UBJ on top of the sloped monitor (very bad) then wallcrawl to Omega Research.
Once you get there, transition back to the previous room then aether jump to the top and ceiling warp in. Trigger the fight and do everything as normal, as you're waiting for Omega Pirate to appear, shoot the door and slowly get close to it until it opens and don't move, it's very important that you are as close as possible to exiting the trigger.
As SOON as Omega Pirate appears, get away from the door and start moving towards him. It is EXTREMELY important that you move when he becomes visible, do NOT try to anticipate it. Once that happens bomb jump up and Power Bomb him, then immediately unmorph and pull up X-Ray Visor quickly, then when the bomb cleared, transition the room and Omega Pirate should be dead.

![Metroid Dread - Any% Speedrun in 1:01:00
[Any% - Legacy - v1.0.2]
[Normal / No Turbo / Emulator]
Suitless route

This speedrun utilizes a new glitch called bomuhey skew and essentially what it does is make you be able to get Axis Skew basically anywhere you want (with a few limitations, being able to do Aim Down Clips is required) by simply jumping, and it even allows us to go through walls, so I use this to get Screw Attack from a much faster path, then later on in Ferenia I use it along Invincibility to clip through an Access Closed door on the way to Wave Beam, skipping needing to get Storm Missiles at all, and while keeping the skewed state I use it to store a Shinespark in the room before the Central Unit, because the room is filled with water and we cant go past it without Gravity Suit unless we use Speed Booster.
Very bad early game but the rest was pretty solid, I got gold skip which is way harder without storm missiles, so thats nice. Who knows if I do another run again but this is pretty cool, I still want sub hour tho..
Done on emulator because no switch >:( Metroid Dread - Any% Speedrun in 1:01:00](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/hl-_VeFSojw/mqdefault.jpg)
