In recognition of Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month, Day One hosted a powerful virtual conversation about survivorship, gender-based violence, and creating safer communities for young people.
Drawing from journalist Jen Percy’s book "Girls Play Dead: Acts of Self Preservation" and Day One’s work supporting young survivors of dating abuse and domestic violence, this dialogue explores the realities of survivorship, and the individual, cultural, and systemic changes needed to create safer, more just communities.
