The 2026 Tank 700 Hi4-Z is a flagship luxury plug-in hybrid SUV that blends serious off-road capability with high-performance electrification. Powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine working alongside dual electric motors, the advanced Hi4-Z hybrid system generates an astonishing 864 horsepower (715 kW) and 1,195 Nm of torque. This immense output allows the full-size SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.6 seconds while reaching a top speed of 190 km/h. Power is delivered through a sophisticated 3-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT), providing smooth performance both on and off the road.
The SUV is equipped with a large 59.05 kWh ternary lithium battery that delivers an all-electric driving range of up to 190 km (WLTC), making it practical for daily commuting without using fuel. Despite its impressive performance, the hybrid system maintains a combined fuel consumption rating of just 8.45 L/100 km. Measuring 5,105 mm long, 2,061 mm wide, and up to 1,985 mm tall, with a generous 3,000 mm wheelbase, the Tank 700 Hi4-Z offers exceptional interior space while maintaining a commanding road presence. Weighing approximately 3,110 kg, it also boasts impressive towing capabilities of up to 2,500 kg with brakes and 750 kg without.
Designed for demanding terrain, the Tank 700 Hi4-Z features the dedicated Hi4-Z four-wheel-drive system along with three locking differentials to maximize traction in extreme off-road conditions. Inside, the cabin combines ruggedness with premium comfort, featuring a redesigned center console, modern toggle-style controls, rear entertainment displays, and multiple upscale interior color options. Advanced technology includes LiDAR-assisted driver assistance, Navigate on Autopilot (NOA) for urban and highway driving, and intelligent autonomous parking functions. In China, the 2026 Tank 700 Hi4-Z is expected to be priced between 438,000 and 478,000 RMB, equivalent to approximately $63,500 to $69,300 USD.
