The Capricorn 01 Zagato "Tutto Rosso" is a one-off hypercar presented at the 2026 edition of the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este. Tailored for a private collector, this unique example takes monochrome to the extreme, drawing inspiration from the legendary Italian racing cars of the 1930s. The car is literally 95% red. The exposed carbon fibre is not black, but infused with a red-colored resin. The bodywork, alloy wheels, leather and Alcantara upholstery are all coordinated with the same vibrant shade of red. Beneath the gullwing doors lies a robust powertrain, comprising a 5.2-litre Ford V8 engine, completely redesigned and extensively modified in-house by Capricorn, with bespoke forged components, a custom supercharger, and a bespoke electronic control unit (ECU). It develops over 900 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque, with a redline at 9,000 rpm, and is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission. Weighing less than 1,200 kg, the Capricorn 01 accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 360 km/h. Enjoy! 😉
La Capricorn 01 Zagato "Tutto Rosso" è una hypercar one-off presentata all'edizione 2026 del Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este. Realizzato su misura per un collezionista privato, questo esemplare unico porta all'estremo il concetto di monocromia, ispirandosi alle leggendarie auto da corsa italiane degli anni '30. L'auto è letteralmente rossa al 95%. La fibra di carbonio a vista non è nera, ma è infusa con una resina colorata di rosso. Carrozzeria, cerchi in lega, rivestimenti in pelle e Alcantara sono tutti coordinati alla stessa vibrante tonalità di rosso. Sotto le portiere, con apertura ad ali di gabbiano, si nasconde una meccanica robusta, composta da un motore Ford V8 da 5,2 litri, completamente riprogettato e ampiamente modificato internamente da Capricorn, con componenti forgiati su misura, un compressore volumetrico personalizzato e una centralina elettronica (ECU) specifica. Sviluppa oltre 900 CV e 1.000 Nm di coppia, con limitatore a 9.000 giri/min ed è dotato di un cambio manuale a 5 rapporti. Con un peso inferiore a 1.200 kg, la Capricorn 01 accelera da 0-100 km/h in 2,9 secondi e raggiunge una velocità massima di 360 km/h. Buona visione! 😉
