The SAIC Audi Q6 45 TFSI quattro is a full-size gasoline SUV developed specifically for the Chinese market. Unlike the fully electric Q6 e-tron offered internationally, this version rides on the Volkswagen Group’s MQB architecture and is powered by a traditional internal combustion engine. It stands as the largest SUV in Audi’s lineup, surpassing even the Audi Q7 in overall length and width, positioning it as a flagship family-oriented model with a strong road presence.
Under the hood, the 45 TFSI variant uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder EA888 engine producing 265 hp (195 kW) and 400 Nm of torque. Power is delivered through a 7-speed S tronic wet dual-clutch transmission paired with Audi’s intelligent quattro real-time all-wheel-drive system. This setup enables the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 7.6 seconds, while fuel consumption is rated at around 9.26 L/100 km, balancing performance with reasonable efficiency for its size.
Measuring 5,099 mm in length, 2,014 mm in width, and 1,784 mm in height, with a 2,980 mm wheelbase, the Q6 offers substantial interior space. Buyers can choose between six-seat layouts with captain’s chairs or a traditional seven-seat configuration. Cargo capacity ranges from 286 liters with all seats in place to a maximum of 2,398 liters when folded flat. Inside, the cabin features a triple-screen arrangement consisting of a 12.3-inch Virtual Cockpit, a 10.1-inch central touchscreen, and an 8.6-inch lower display for climate controls, while higher trims include a 14-speaker Bang & Olufsen 3D audio system and a multi-link independent suspension setup with available adaptive damping for enhanced ride comfort.
