I took my new 2025 KTM 390 Enduro R out for my first ride in the woods and I have to say this thing blew my expectations out of the water. I was planning to take it easy with my first time taking the KTM 390 Enduro R off road but once I got a feel for it, I found myself taking this thing on singletrack trails, off of jumps, and even down a more difficult rated trail. Whether it's 390 Enduro R trail riding, street riding, highway speeds, dirt roads, or singletrack, this thing punches way above its weight class in terms of price.
Yes the 390 Enduro is a little overweight, but for 5500 bucks, you get a hell of a lot of motorcycle.
The only thing stopping this from being an absolutely stellar initial KTM 390 Enduro review is the flame out issue. The fueling is twitchy at low speeds and RPMs and the thing was dying on me way too much when I was trying to ride it on the trails. Part of the issue was me hitting the kickstand switch with my heel, but the 390 enduro flame out issue persisted even when I was sitting down.
