Hanwha Aerospace participated in AUSA 2025, North America’s premier land defense exhibition, held in Washington, D.C., from October 13 to 15.

At the event, we showcased the concept of the wheeled K9A2 Self-Propelled Howitzer and shared our U.S. localization plan for the 155mm Modular Charge System (MCS) — highlighting solutions to support the U.S. Army’s modernization and strengthen ammunition supply chain resilience.

In addition, Hanwha Aerospace signed a joint development agreement with General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. for a Short Take-Off and Landing (STOL) unmanned aircraft, and concluded a three-year framework agreement and an initial $110 million contract with the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration for additional 155mm MCS supply.

During the exhibition, Hanwha Aerospace drew strong attention from U.S. government and military officials, as well as global defense industry partners, reinforcing its reputation for K-defense technology innovation and reaffirming its commitment to advancing defense cooperation between Korea and the United States.
