지난 12월 18일 마산항에서 선적돼 호주로 떠났던 3호기까지
한화디펜스가 총 3대의 레드백 시제품을 호주군에 납품했습니다.

2월 예정인 호주군의 장비 테스트를 위해 레드백 시제품을 인도하기 전에
지난 1월 12일, 한화디펜스가 호주 멜버른에서 관계자와 미디어에 레드백 완전체를 공개하는 행사를 진행했습니다.

이 날은 레드백 공개 행사뿐 아니라 한화디펜스와 빅토리아주 정부간의 상호 협력을 위한 MOU 체결식도 함께 진행되었습니다.

오는 2월부터 호주군은 레드백과 경쟁사 제품의 차량성능, 방호, 화력, 운용자평가,
정비/수송 시험 평가를 진행해 2022년 상반기에 우선협상 대상자를 선정할 예정입니다.

Hanwha Defense delivered a total of three REDBACK prototypes to the Australian military, including Unit 3, which was shipped from Masan Port on December 18th and left for Australia.

Starting in February, the Australian Army plans to conduct evaluation of vehicle performance, protection, firepower, operator evaluation, and maintenance/transport tests of REDBACK and competitors' products to select the preferred tenderer in the first half of 2022.
