On 11-11-2025 I was delighted to tour what was left of the Wild River Gorge rapids ride at Alabama Adventure, in Bessemer, Alabama. Park management kindly granted my request to film and escorted me through the ride on a cold and beautiful sunny day. We walked the clockwise direction of travel from the top of the lift, to the wide section before the whirl pool. It was great to trade historical insight and stories with my guide, Alex. No, friends, no juicy info on the park's future projects or plans. Alex also made sure we were both safe during the visit. Hope you all enjoy this walk, and part two of my visit is coming soon.
