On 11-11-2025 I was delighted to tour what was left of the Wild River Gorge rapids ride at Alabama Adventure, in Bessemer, Alabama. Park management kindly granted my request to film and escorted me through the ride on a cold and beautiful sunny day. In this part two of the day, we walked back through the queue line and explored some of the exterior of the pump house and reservoir. It was great to trade historical insight and stories with my guide, Alex. No, friends, no juicy info on the park's future projects or plans. Alex also made sure we were both safe during the visit. Sadly, Wild River Gorge will never run again, for a number of reasons, but I'm so glad I was able to explore it. Hope you all enjoy this walk.
