Whistler Blackcomb and Helly Hansen hosted the Freeride World Tour Challenger Series for the first time on our slopes in March 2023. In what was the first stop for the Series in North America, the event showcased some of the most exciting and hungriest up and coming athletes throwing down progressive performances on legendary venues. Utilizing some of the best terrain that Whistler Blackcomb has to offer, athletes were tested on the awe-inspiring Diamond Bowl of Spanky's Ladder, known for its steepness, big features and snow quality.
