Looking ahead to summer 2024, we’re stoked about how our new upgrade for Fitzsimmons Express will impact the experience for riders at Whistler Mountain Bike Park in our 25th anniversary season. Get ready for party laps on A-line, Dirt Merchant, Crank It Up and more — the increased capacity of five riders + five bikes per chair will be an absolute game-changer for accessing the popular Fitz Zone!
As always, we want to share gratitude to the Squamish Nation and Lil’wat Nation for their continued partnership throughout the course of this upgrade. In the Squamish language, Fitz is known as Sḵwexwnách for Valley Creek. In the Lil’wat language, Fitz is known as Tsíqten which means Fish Spear.
