In 2022 I notched a bucket list item by staying at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, Tennessee. I had been to the atriums many times over the years, but never stayed overnight. Needless to say, it was peaceful weekend of walking the gardens, listening to the waterfalls, smelling the breakfast buffet each morning in my room, and documenting what little was left of the Opryland USA theme park. Sadly, more of the original park buildings in the plaza had been destroyed by recent floods, hence the odd open spots. I didn't get to do the SoundWaves waterpark this trip, but intend to on my next stay. I dearly love this hotel and it's tranquil beauty. Always will.
