It’s official! Call for entries for The 3rd Annual Danny Awards is now open until September 15th!
The Danny Awards is a global award show that recognizes the musical talents of individuals with disabilities and celebrates differences. The event will be hosted live on Saturday, November 12, 2022, in NYC and streamed online.
A panel of judges comprised of musicians and music industry professionals will select the top ten Award Recipients chosen from video submissions in two categories: “Outstanding Original Song” and “Joyful Expression of a Cover Song.”
Each Award Recipient will receive an incredible prize package and an action-packed weekend you won’t soon forget! Most importantly, you will have the opportunity to share your musical talents with the world! Visit danielsmusic.org/TheDannys2022 for more details.

Daniel’s Music Foundation was founded in 2006 by the Trush family to empower individuals with developmental and physical disabilities through music. Today, we have expanded our programs from one keyboard class with five members to serving thousands of individuals - both locally in NYC at our 8,700 square-foot music center, as well as nationally through the DMF Virtual Community.

Our free and fee-based music programs are available to individuals with disabilities, both in person and online. Together, they allow us to help more deserving people and make a meaningful difference in the world.
As an organization, we believe in inclusion, diversity, and the ability of all individuals to creatively express themselves. We are also passionately committed to changing perception, diminishing isolation, and providing access to music for individuals with disabilities.
