The Toyota C-HR is not wtihout controversy. It's the smallest CUV in Toyota's SUV lineup and certainly the most 'distinctive'. I took an informal poll of the styling and 54% approved. It tends to polarize opinion. Some love it, others not so much. It comes with a 2.0L 4 cylinder engine producing 144hp and 139 lb-ft torque. It's mated to a CVT transmission and is FWD only.

The build quality is extrmely high and it rides and handles very well. It's surprisingly quiet. Close to top of the class for noise levels. It doesn't have the most usable cargo space compared to its rivals as it trades a highly curved rear hatch for capacity. The rear seat is comfortable, but is not suited for tall adults.

The C-HR should be on your shortlist if you're looking at the smaller crossover sport segment.

This Nightshade edition was $25,665 including delivery and procesisng fees.
