On June 1st 2020 Kawasaki announced their 2021 ATV Line Up and for better or worse, not much has changed.
The Brute Force 750 4x4 returns and has long been the most ruckus of the Japanese Big Bores. The venerable 749cc V-Twin Four Stroke oozes torque and doesn’t quit through the RPM range.
The Brute Force’s ability to go relatively unchanged and still be relevant after a decade speaks to how well designed the machine was, however we’d like to see some updates to Kawasaki’s flagship ATV. We tested the Brute Force 750 after its last major update in 2011 and found it to be solid performing and capable of hanging with the competitions twin cylinders of the era. 10 years later, the chasis and suspension is starting to feel a generation behind. Overall the Brute Force has proven to be a solid performer both on the trail and the job site.
Fortunately for consumers, the MSRP hasn’t changed much either, The Fire Cracker Red base model starts at $8,999, The Fragment Camo Gray EPS model is $9,999 and of course the Hunters Choice Realtree Xtra Green Camo edition $10,599.
The Brute Force 300 also returns for 2021 and this a machine we’re happy to see unchanged. The 271cc liquid cooled 4 stroke engine combined with a smooth shifting CVT is solid performing and the Brute Force 300 is an ideal entry level machine for enthusiasts with basic needs or teens 16years old and up who are ready to graduate from youth models.
For 2021 the Brute Force 300 is available in Bright Whit and Super Black at an MSRP of $4,399.
Two youth models also remain in the lineup in the 2021 KFX 50 at an MSRP of $1,999 and the KFX 90 at $2,599. With no larger sport models for kids to grow into we hope to see Kawasaki borrow the KLX 300 Dirt Bike power-plant to fill the need for a small bore adult sized sport ATV.
