The inaugural W Series season reached the halfway point with its only visit to southern Europe courtesy of a round of racing at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.

One driver took her second win of the season here with another 19-car grid heading out to race as Vivien Kesztheyli stood in for Emma Kimilainen once again and Sarah Bovy got another chance to race after a mechanical problem ruled her out at Zolder.
