ATOMIC SKI"S OFFICIAL PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

VANTAGE:
"Our super progressive All Mountain Vantage is great on hard pack and equally good in soft snow. With less weight and more strength it’s the perfect one quiver ski delivering killer piste performance without sacrificing any of its play in powder.

"The 2019 Atomic Vantage 90 TI ski, with a thinner waist, grips like a high-performance piste ski, but it’s still nice and floaty in the pow.

"The Atomic Vantage 90 TI is slightly more tuned for on-piste skiing and harder snow. A highly-tuned shape, in a highly versatile waist width, it offers all-mountain capability while sacrificing almost nothing in-bounds. The entire package is built in our industry-exclusive Prolite construction. Revolutionary and lightweight, it adds reinforcements only where needed, keeping the weight low. It’s strong thanks to Titanium Tank Mesh and Energy Backbone, and fully featured with Full Sidewall and Power Woodcore for rigid stability. For the resort ripper who wants a little bit of float and play in the pow, the Vantage 90 TI is a ski that performs day-in, day-out. Better, easier skiing happens on smartly-designed skis – and this ski is exactly that.

Kevin's Bio on PugSki:

Height: 6'2"
Weight: 215 lb

Years skiing: 25+
Days per year: 50+

Home mountains: Arapahoe Basin, Loveland, Copper

Preferred terrain: Bowls, trees, steeps, bumps; good groomers with a proper ski are a riot as well.

Skiing style: Power and speed

Preferred ski characteristics: I favor skis with metal, camber, and flatish tails. I don't mind a touch of rocker but don't want a banana.

Boots: Head Raptor 140 RS with ZipFits.

About me: My passion for skiing intensified since moving to Colorado in 2007. Now, in my mid-40s, I ski 50+ days per season mostly at ABasin, Loveland, and Copper Mountain. I also backcountry ski and find time to take a few cat trips as well. To me, the ski day doesn't end when the lifts stop turning. Après done right only adds to a glorious day sliding on the snow.
