![At Home With Jesse Guglielmana
Jesse Guglielmana is a man of many talents. But according to him, words are not one of ’em. The Costa Mesa-based surfer, shaper, designer, screen printer, painter, and skater has myriad avenues of self expression. He’s a jack of all creative trades and is pretty damn good at everything, even if he doesn’t think so. As he says: “I’ve always wished that I could be really into something and just really focus on that and master that. The only way my brain has ever worked is to just obsess over something to where I don’t want to do it at all and I want to go do something else. The product of that has been me doing a lot of things, in my opinion, somewhat mediocrely, ya know [laughs]?”
While visiting Jesse in his hometown, we got a firsthand look at his day-to-day life, which usually includes some sort of surfing, skating, business, and art. And we gotta say, he’s much more pro than he lets on. Smash that play button for proof.
