The BLM-Utah teamed up with the Salt Lake Center for Science Education (SLCSE), a STEM-based charter school in Salt Lake City, to create an innovative, new week-long camp that emphasized Utah's world-class recreation opportunities and paleontological resources. In August, 2017, a group of middle schoolers, teachers and BLM experts camped, rappelled, hiked, canoed, and climbed their way from the Cleveland-Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry to the Mail Station Site in Moab, Utah. It was an AWESOME experience, and we can't wait to do it again next year!
