Did you know that Paria River District is home to ringtail cats?
In fact, two of these nocturnal “masked bandits” were recently caught sneaking into candy at Moqui Cave, located just north of Kanab, Utah. Upon capture, Paria River District Manager Harry Barber was called to help find the critters a new home, far away from the sweets. Captured here is the the second ringtail relocation in the past month. Both have since been moved about four miles south, in the vicinity of the Kanab Field Office’s Cottonwood Trail.
