The characters are Thrushtail and a scrapped character from fields of gold, his sister Dawnkit
I drew the original when Fields of Gold was in its early stages of development, so I can explain the story here.

Dawnkit was killed by Rosethorn (for no reason) and she started visiting Thrushtail but only when he was an adult... also unexplained.

Though she looked like a kit, and had a kit's name, she had the mind of an adult warrior by the time her living siblings grew up. The image shows the first time she fully appears to Thrushtail, guiding him to I actually don't remember where she's leading him. The moonpool, maybe? Then in the end of the story she was supposed to have an epic showdown with Rosethorn, however I scrapped her from the story since I didn't want Dirtyfoot to be in complete mindless control by Rosethorn, I wanted him to realise his own faults and call out Rose instead. But then that would mean Dawnkit would be completely shoehorned into the story, so alas, I completely removed her from it.
