it's that time of year where i upload a bunch of my unfinished works! This animatic was meant to explore the relationship between Valdyr (broken horn outcast girl) and Rune (who is the son of the problematic queen Fala, also the guy with big hair)
I started this in early 2022 and left it unfinished due to problems with the story overall, which is currently on hold.

Ive been struggling a lot with fur and it took me ages to get it right i still need to explore more with hair movement that doesnt rely on wind physics. I feel like this is my best scene set up so far though, so Im really happy about that

the rune guys!! had so much trouble rendering this out so i apologize that the 2nd half is a little wacky and grainy, blender was NOT having it (i am not exaggerating when i say it took me weeks to try and get this to work... i ended up having to render the viewport in exchange of poorer quality, otherwise blender crashed if i tried rendering the traditional way)

Heads up in advance: there is no need for any unsolicited critique, I ask skilled 3D artists for advice whenever I need it. You can enjoy art without having to point out the smallest mistakes :) keep in mind that im 1 person and i cant keep up with pixar. There will be mistakes and thats fine because Im learning. And please dont feel entitled to tell me to fix mistakes: remember that I am creating this content for free, and most importantly for myself.
Im still working on the anthro warriors AU thing, but god everytime i do blender decides to ruin something for me! Essentially this rig is a little asymmetrical and hard to work with, i also had to temporarily remove the tail. Gonna have to rerig the whole thing later, but for now have this! And yeah i know the cloak is clipping, but trust me when I say that cloth simulation and fur are very difficult to do well, especially when theyre mixed together.
