The RoK produces some of the best rations in the world. In terms of palatability, utility, and overall toughness in the field, they are right up there with the leading countries in pre-packaged shelf stable food. In this review we first check out the new version of their retort pouch field ration, with it's advanced pull string activated FRH and it's own tray. Then we move over to the old freeze dried version, which was built to last. Both are a real food adventure, so have your snacks ready because otherwise you'll likely to get pretty hungry while watching.
