The newest MRE is in a new & more compact outer package and Menu #2 is a home run - replacing what was also a beloved BBQ classic, Shredded Beef. It was also nearly perfect - but the upgrade was worth the loss of a menu that will never be forgotten, as it was a long standing and much enjoyed shelf stable meal.
