The eleventh installment in 2014 for Hallmark's Singing Snowmen/Jingle Pals collection was The Perfect Tree, with two snowmen who sing an altered lyrics version of Up On the House Top.
In my honest opinion, this was the turn for the worse. This isn't BAD, but it's a little generic and introduces the snowkid, an element I'm not too fond of because he's always shoehorned in to be the "cute" character, taking the place of penguins entirely, who at least to me were more unique. As for the installment itself, it's a bit strange, because clearly they're supposed to be walking with the tree, but putting a sign there just to put lights on takes away from this, ruining the illusion since a sign wouldn't move with them. At least the movements are nice, with the tugging going on both ends randomly. The lights are nice too, even though they're forced in. The lyrics also are tolerable enough, and I like the kid's snarky attitude, bragging about how he did it all by himself out of nowhere. In the end, I don't HATE this one and I probably even like it more than 2011, it just started a new trend of Jingle Pals that I don't personally believe in.
