The seventh installment in 2010 for Hallmark's Singing Snowmen/Jingle Pals collection was Trimming the Tree Snowman, who sings the altered lyrics version of Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree.
For some reason, Jingle Pals did not release in 2009, instead having a piano playing Snoopy in its place. However, when it came back in 2010, it came back in style! Bringing back a tree as well as a penguin, this one has a very creative concept and very cool movement. On top of that, it's very adorable to me, as I love the penguins. Unfortunately, it kind of has a big design flaw. Because the snowman leans so far to the left, he pulls up the snowy base with him, and this kind of messes with the performance. That's why in addition to playing it once on its own, I decided to hold it down with my hand for a better run-through. Since this was filmed, I stored it by placing another Jingle Pals on that side of the set to keep it down, and this kind of works, but it's a shame. Still, this is one of the rarest (arguably) in the set, and I got a good deal on it, so I probably won't try to replace it, and I definitely won't take the tag off. Regardless of these issues, I still love this one, and it's probably a top 5 for me.
