The PEGASYS Awards is an annual video competition and awards ceremony for public, educational and governmental (PEG) access producers in the Ithaca, NY area, that has been organized by staff and volunteers of Ithaca's PEGASYS Community Media Center since 1985. Host of the 2004 Awards is Studio Coordinator Lauren Stefanelli. Producers competed in 7 categories. Winners are: 1. Public Affairs, Mark Finkelstein, Wies van Leuken; 2. Non-Profit Organizations, Baseema Banoo and Ward Krkoska; 3. Performing Arts, Mike Ocello; 4. Comedy and Variety, Chris Caccioppoli; 5. Religion/Philosophy, Jenny Marsella; 6.
