Hi all! Throughout the month I will be uploading videos of my Christmas decorations! This is partially just filler but also maybe I will share an anecdote about my Christmas to you along with HD uploads of some more obscure Christmas decorations perhaps!
The first ever installment in 2003 for Hallmark's Singing Snowmen/Jingle Pals collection was the Caroling Snowmen who sing We Wish You a Merry Christmas.
The name is Caroling Snowmen according to the tag, but it can also be called "Merry... Very!" due to the book the female snowman holds. In general, "Jingle Pals" is just a name the collectors have dubbed for the collection, which was originally intended to be just the name of the 2004 installment. I like the name, so I've called it that, but I believe the official name for the series is the Singing Snowmen series.
Being the first installment, it's quite simple, but very charming because of it. I like it a lot for having one of the few identifiable female characters in the series but also just for being cute. Of course I believe future installments would only get cooler as they added different motions, custom lyrics, lights, and animals, but for a first installment, it's very charming. Not quite one of my most personal favorites, but more in the middle of my ranking. Very nice. I got this earlier this year when collecting all the Jingle Pals, so I have no personal attachment yet.
This one takes 6 AA batteries, 3 on each snowman, and if you only load batteries in the female snowman (the button is on her hand so it wouldn't work in the male snowman only), there will be pauses when the male snowman is supposed to sing.
