The twelfth installment in 2015 for Hallmark's Singing Snowmen/Jingle Pals collection was Time for Cookies, with snowmen who sing an altered lyrics version of Deck the Halls, reprising the song after only four years.
I'm just gonna say it - this is my least favorite installment in the entire series. I think it is by far the laziest so far, which is frustrating because a behind the scenes video on Hallmark's YouTube channel shows that a lot of thought apparently went into it. Where to start? Rex is lazily thrown in clinging to the woman's apron, her apron's colors are a bit too vibrant/out there for me, the kid isn't something I'm big on, and the lyrics are forgettable. It's a shame, too, because I really like the idea of putting more female characters into them, but I just never was a big fan of this one. I thought I was into it at one point actually, and I liked it when I first had it, but it grew off on me I guess, and it just comes off as generic at this point. The most frustrating part for me is that they don't even move on their own. They connected the kid to her so they move together at all times, and this became the standard for Jingle Pals to come, which severely disappoints me. 2008's Season's Treatings was so cool how they moved back and forth on their own, and now songs like this where they don't sing together the whole time is made worse by the fact that they keep moving together. Maybe it's a small complaint, but it really angers me, anyways. Next year's was better but still flawed.
