This video demonstrates how to replace the fuel filter head on the 2001-2016 6.6 Duramax diesel. This includes the LB7, LLY, LBZ, LMM, and LML found in the Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 and 3500. This truck was having a crank no start condition once the outside temperatures started to rise or after pulling a heavy load. Overtime the internal seals on the fuel filter head start to go bad causing a crank no start condition. New filter head was purchased from dmaxstore.com and I also purchased their filter head spacer which moves the filter head away from some of the engine heat. I will include a link to the new head along with some of the other parts and tools used in this video.
