This video demonstrates how to replace the main serpentine belt and tensioner plus the A/C belt and tensioner on the 2001-2006 Chevy and GMC trucks and SUV's equipped with the 5.3L. This will include the Silverado, Sierra, Avalanche, Yukon, Suburban, Tahoe, and the Cadillac Escalade. Replacement belts and tensioners can be purchased from Amazon and I will include links below. I will also include links to some of the other products and tools used in this video. Before ordering the replacement serpentine belt be sure to check what amperage alternator you vehicle is equipped with, it will be stamped in the aluminum on the side of the alternator.
