Originally retailed by BMW of Norwood in Massachusetts, the car was sold on February 12, 2001, to Kevin Jenkins of Dedham, Massachusetts. After approximately six years, it was purchased by Carl Almeida of Euro Auto, Inc. in Fall River, Massachusetts. It was then sold to Emanuel Carreiro on April 26, 2007, with approximately 67,000 original miles.
For the next 18 years, Emanuel treated the E38 as a prized possession rather than a daily driver. The BMW was stored indoors at Carl’s storage facility in Fall River, Massachusetts and was periodically started, driven on nice days, and carefully maintained. A clean Carfax documents routine servicing at BMW of Newport in Middletown, Rhode Island.
In October 2025, Emanuel sold the car back to Carl Almeida through Euro Auto, Inc. with 69,581 miles. Carl invested $4,929.09 in documented service work before selling it to Marc Schiliro of MS CLASSIC CARS in August 2026. The MS CLASSIC CARS team completed a comprehensive detail, and this marks the first time the vehicle has been offered for sale.
