Wendigo Psychosis
Wendigo Psychosis is a mental condition in which a person has an insatiable desire for human flesh and believes they are becoming a cannibal despite having access to plenty of good food. The most typical response among aboriginal tribes where wendigo psychosis was prominent was curative attempts by traditional native healers or Western doctors. In the rare occasions where these tactics failed and the Wendigo sufferer began to threaten others around them or act aggressively or antisocially, they were typically executed.
