Picked up a $20 “for parts” ASUS gaming laptop and finally replaced the dead keyboard with an AliExpress unit. This model (FX502V) hides the keyboard under the entire motherboard, so I walk through a full tear-down, removing the melted plastic rivets on the keyboard bracket, installing the new board, and reassembling it. The laptop boots and all keys work
