Why you should never drink your own urine, even in a survival situation. I put fresh and week-old urine under the microscope, measured the pH, and showed exactly what happens when you store urine in a cup. Two biological reasons drinking urine is a bad idea: concentrated salts worsen dehydration, and bacteria turn urea into ammonia (pH 9 after 7 days).

![Some of my BLOOD CELLS look strange, but I am OK!
Some red blood cells have a strange shape, they look spiky. These red blood cells are called Acanthocytes and they appear when the blood starts to dry up under the microscope. Red blood cells, also known as erythrocytes, are responsible for carrying oxygen from the lungs to the rest of the body. Red blood cells contain a protein called hemoglobin, which binds to oxygen molecules and transports them through the bloodstream. White blood cells, also known as leukocytes, help to defend the body against infection and disease. They are part of the immune system and work to fight off harmful bacteria and viruses. Some of them are able to change their shape as they hunt down bacteria. At the end of the video, I also want to show you how to put a small droplet of blood on a microscope slide for observation.
