Past Tense | 2 Hours Of Birdsong – Birds Singing In A Pine Forest By A Gentle Stream - Relaxing Nature Sounds @PastTenseRelax | Uploaded 4 years ago | Updated 1 hour ago
2 hours of birds singing in a beautiful pine forest by a gentle stream. Relaxing nature sounds to help you unwind.
Why do nature sounds, such as birds singing, the soothing sound of wind blowing through the trees, or the gentle flow of water have such a relaxing effect on the brain?
Part of the answer lies in how the brain interpret these nature sounds, both while awake and also at night when we are sleeping. Our minds interprets each sound as either a threat or a non-threat.
These gentle relaxing nature sounds such as birdsong, gentle rain and flowing water, allows us to rest our overstimulated brains at the end of a busy day. They induces a state of tranquillity found in few other repetitive sounds. It's like Mother Nature is saying to us: “Hey, don't worry, relax, everything is fine”.
So just close your eyes, relax and enjoy!
