I could just dream, but I could also video-edit. ;)
I found a character mod of Aya Shameimaru (from the Touhou series) (although I haven't got her wings' texture to load right yet - they should be nice and feathery and semitransparent) for TeaTime's らぶデス2 (Love Death 2), and fiddled around with the textures of the room to get them a nice green.
I tried my hand at doing an effect similar to the first video I ever uploaded at YouTube (it still exists if you want to check it out). After that, I tried to get a little more advanced, but... well, it's okay, but there were a few annoying lines which didn't go transparent, among other things. <<
Want to know what programs I used? What the music is? It's all in the video. Except for what camcorder I used, which I forgot to mention, which is a Sony DCR-TRV270E.

The Japanese computer-generated voice Hatsune Miku (初音 ミク) from Vocaloid2 singing Im Gonna Be (500 Miles), originally by The Proclaimers. Hatsune Miku is the first voice in a series of character voices produced for Vocaloid2.
The video was not originally intended to be the main point.
I just synchronized some animations with the song because I wanted to put it up here.
EDIT: And damn, it really suffered from the YouTube compression. For the first time, it also seems to have de-synced the video and audio too. Anyway...
Because the voice is intended for Japanese lyrics, the voice doesnt sound fluent in English, but that doesnt stop the cuteness.
(In fact, it kind of adds to it...)
There is a lesser-known CG voice doing the backing singing (on the right speaker - theres a stereo version available, check the bottom of this description). Its a voice I made using Virtual Singer on Melody Assistant. If the second Vocaloid2 voice in the character series had been released yet, I would have used it, but unfortunately that will not be released until the end of December 2007.
I know I got lazy with the video editing near the end, thats what happens when youve spent 11 days working on it.
I did not make any of the illustrations used in this video! I just synchronised them to the lyrics or beat.

We were walking away with some hardstyle blasting from a sound suitcase wed made and used throughout the day, when a group of people started showing off some moves to it.
This was at just gone 6 PM, after the first day of London MCM Expo, on Saturday the 25th of October, just outside the ExCel building.
The songs played are kenta.v-ez - Re-LibErAtioN pLus+ (Shingo Dj remix) and Shingo Dj - Cielo, part of one long mix of songs by Shingo DJ for an event called Otaku Hardcore Revolution 2. This was an online event where primarily hardcore music, made by many different artists, and prepared sometimes several months before the event, was streamed live on Internet radio.")

There are at least 4 very obvious and cringe-worthy mistakes which make me think I shouldnt be uploading this, but after trying for quite a few hours over 2 days, this was the best I could do. Maybe someday after more practise Ill try it on a real piano.
This is me trying to play Caramelldansen as Ive learnt it from memory, to a metronome at 165 BPM.
Also, my Remi plush fell onto the keys many times during failed attempts but didnt during this most successful one, so I had to force her to. =P
Technical stuff:
The keyboard is a Yamaha PSR-E313. Played music can be recorded onto internal memory. While playing this, it was recording, and later I played it back while its headphone output was connected to my soundcard, to have a nice clean recording of just the piano sound without the metronome, key presses, and my sniffing due to hayfever (except for when I laughed at my failure). xD")

It only took 5 years, but you can finally download all the MIDIs Ive made for the Roland SC-88Pro synth!
Well, I actually started making a lot more than 12, but most of them got abandoned, and these are all the ones that managed to survive my short attention span and make it all the way through to completion. If you just want to hear them, Ive already uploaded videos of all of them.
I mention this in the video and on the download page, but these wont sound so good on non-Sound Canvas synths. Ive made special versions of a few MIDIs, which are designed to work better on simpler synths (simplifying percussion and moving it all onto one channel, emulating slower attacks by using expression control changes, etc), which are included in the downloads where they exist, but its very time-consuming and not always possible to even make it sound half-good, so I didnt do this for all of my MIDIs. They should sound fine on the newer SC-8850 too, and Id be curious as to how they sound on an older Sound Canvas like the SC-55.
BaWaMI, my MIDI software synth, can sound acceptable playing most of them - at least if you spend a minute or two adjusting volumes and instruments. You can also use it to see what the MIDI Unfortunately, it would take a lot of work in a MIDI editor to get them to play well on a Yamaha XG synth, though.

Heres the latest version of Bawami, my MIDI player, playing Kamotos MIDI of the theme 「東風 -afternoon-」, from the visual novel Clannad.
This video is both to show off some new things in my software, while letting you hear how it performs with this particular MIDI file. This is the biggest update since I first released Bawami to the public, and I changed even some smaller things such as the character of the reverb (theres now damping, so that hihats and treble such as the shakers in this MIDI dont sound painfully loud anymore).

Well, I tried again... and failed again. xD
I know the piano isnt perfectly in tune, but it was the best I had access to. Plus, if it had been really good, I might not have been allowed to have the front cover off it.
By the way, the piano happened to be in a building attached to a church, so I thought there was a nice irony to starting the medley with the theme of a vampire.

Apologies for the sucky sound quality - it seems these stepper motors arent ideal for music, since theyre so quiet.
A program of mine running on my laptop is sending the frequencies of notes from a MIDI file (which I didnt make) to an Arduino, which in turn controls 2 stepper motors and shows the frequencies on an LCD. The music is the opening theme to the anime Kannagi, 「motto☆派手にね」.
I suppose this is a step up from the singing motor videos I uploaded in 2007/2008. With stepper motors, the pitch can be precisely correct! However, the ones I have cant get very high-pitched, so theyre better for bass (not what theyre doing in this video). At around 00:14, you can hear what happens if one tries to go faster than it can - it just vibrates.
Maybe Ill try to get some stepper motors which are louder / higher torque / have more steps per revolution, when I have the money to spend on such random things...")

I was recently introduced to the rhythm-based game osu!. Since its a clone of a game from the Nintendo DS which takes advantage of the touch-sensitive screen, I decided to try to emulate that playing style.
I know that this beatmap is really not hard compared to most, but my Yes! was due to the fact that this was the first time Id got a 100% accuracy rating.
The songs full name is 「博麗神社町内会音頭」 (Hakurei Shrine Neighborhood Association Marching Song).
The wires coming out of the pen are soldered to the battery terminals inside, and have a D-size battery (which you can see on my desk) connected on the other end. I did that because the internal battery compartment of the pen had a connection so bad that the tablet was simply unusable when using it.
I dont think I have the input/song sync set correctly since there is quite a noticable delay between pressing the pen and the game detecting that (you can see, and even sometimes hear the tapping at times, in the video). I set the offset to the same as what I set StepManias to, and, since both games use DirectSound, I thought that that would make the offset perfect here too, but clearly thats not the case.")
