I've been considering adding a staging ho scale train yard to my layout for a while now. I thought it would be a good way to store some of my larger trains.

The goal was to keep the design as simple as possible, using the drywall as part of the structure utilizing some shelving brackets. Overall this method seemed to work quite well.

The new yard can handle any length of train required and leaves room for future expansion.
