This is my first time trying this this particular brand of resin. It has been specifically designed for acrylic pouring artists who want to coat their acrylic pours, or expand into the resin art field. I wasn't planning to make a video, nor was I trying to make art. I do think that the piece I made is pretty, though! These products seem to be fool-proof! Even though the resin started to thicken up on me, I was still able to make it work for me.

I just grabbed some pre-mixed paints in my favourite blues and greens, and did a dirty cup flip. This is a 12x12 inch gallery wrapped canvas. As per my usual, I did a bit of fiddling and swiping. Most of these paints were Golden Fluid Acrylics mixed with Liquitex Pouring Medium (about 50%), with a splash of Floetrol, and a few drops of dimethicone. The white is house paint, mixed with Floetrol and water.Liquid Glass Shiny Finish on My Pour ArtKims Kreations2017-12-14 | By popular demand - I used the Tri-Art Liquid Glass Pouring Medium as a finishing coat on one of my pour art pieces.Pouring Medium Experiment #2Kims Kreations2017-12-13 | For this experiment, I tried mixing Golden Fluid Acrylics with the Tri-Art Pouring Medium. I take you through the process while I make a little abstract, beach-inspired painting using the Pebeo line of fantasy paints - Vitrail, Moon, and Prisme.Plan & Paint With Me - Daniel Smith WatercolorsKims Kreations2016-11-07 | This week, I decided to play with my Daniel Smith iridescent/duochrome watercolor paints. I did a previous video where I experimented with them on both black and white backgrounds, and the results were stunning! Here's the link to that video -youtu.be/v6N8SHZs9JM So, this week, I used an old Dylusions stencil, and started by adding some black Dylusions paint to the page. Then, I layered the shimmer over the black (and the white) to highlight the beautiful contrast. Then, of course, I did some planning. ;)Creative Background Coloring & Progress Flip Animorphia and ImagimorphiaKims Kreations2016-11-04 | I decided to be a little creative with one of the backgrounds in my color book - with tissue paper collage! I also do a flip of both my Animorphia and Imagimorphia color books, to show you how I play in my color books. Hint - I rarely just color! ;)Use Your Washi Tape to Plan!Kims Kreations2016-11-02 | Plan with me for the week of Halloween, 2016! A short video this week - lost a bit of footage, but decided it was worth posting anyway! I love using washi tape in my planner!Iridescent Watercolor Comparison - Daniel Smith, Kuretake, & FineTecKims Kreations2016-10-31 | An impromptu video - started off playing with some of my new (to me) Daniel Smith iridescent and duochrome watercolors. Then, I decided to compare them to some other (similar?) watercolors from my stash - the Kuretaki Gansai Tambi Starry Colors, and the FineTec Pearl Colors. I compared them all on both white and black papers - what a difference!!! I was literally shocked to see how some of them popped on the black, when they were hardly visible on the white. Which brand is my favorite? You must watch to see. ;) Where I obtained the Daniel Smith watercolors - www.deserres.caArt Journaling in my Planner Again - Oct 23-30/16Kims Kreations2016-10-24 | I started by planning my page - I wanted to mask off sections of the page to make it look like missing bricks. I then added some red and black paint to the areas I was masking off. I used an old Crafter's Workshop 6x6 brick wall stencil and American craft paint (it's matte) and added some sparkly Pan Pastel to it, and sponged it through the stencil. I added the usual - washi tape and stickers, and called it done! :)Imagimorphia vs Animorphia - My Thoughts and Coloring IdeasKims Kreations2016-10-21 | So, thanks to Dede Willingham, I now have a serious colorbook addiction. My latest acquisition is Imagimorphia by Kerby Rosanes. I found a quality difference between this one, and Animorphia. I do a quick flip of both books, and show you some of the pages I'm working on. I also talk about how to fix errors, even after you've colored the whole page.
Dede Willingham - youtube.com/channel/UCw0gHer3DFqwAEStta_2xygArt Journaling in my EC Planner Oct 17-23/16Kims Kreations2016-10-16 | This is much more of an art journal spread than a planner spread, but many of mine are! I started with a texture gel through a spider web-shaped stencil, to make the dimensional spider web. I then followed up with watercolours, washi, stickers, etc. in shades of green and purple. I REALLY love the way this one turned out!Art Journal & Plan With Me - Mixed Media PWM Oct 10-16, 2016Kims Kreations2016-10-11 | Another mixed media spread in my Erin Condren planner. This week, I started with collage - Tim Holtz tissue paper. I then followed up with washi tape, stickers, markers, & epoxy dots. Last week's PWM video - youtube.com/watch?v=RwVuB08plhs Previous couple of weeks: Oct 3-9 - mixed media with napkin collage - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HX_kR... Just stickers and washi. Last week's mixed media with napkin collage - youtube.com/watch?v=HX_kRzoSuSk Sept 19-25 mixed media collage/stamps - youtube.com/watch?v=zFDmOjwndCo
