I started with two 16" x 24" cradled wood panels. I began with acrylic paints and mediums. I added lots of texture and sparkle, embedded in the various mediums. Quickie Acrylic Pour - HUGE Beautiful Cells! Kims Kreations 2017-12-24 | I decided at the last minute, to film this pour. I just grabbed some pre-mixed paints in my favourite blues and greens, and did a dirty cup flip. This is a 12x12 inch gallery wrapped canvas. As per my usual, I did a bit of fiddling and swiping. Most of these paints were Golden Fluid Acrylics mixed with Liquitex Pouring Medium (about 50%), with a splash of Floetrol, and a few drops of dimethicone. The white is house paint, mixed with Floetrol and water.

Plan & Paint With Me - Daniel Smith Watercolors Kims Kreations 2016-11-07 | This week, I decided to play with my Daniel Smith iridescent/duochrome watercolor paints. I did a previous video where I experimented with them on both black and white backgrounds, and the results were stunning! Then, I layered the shimmer over the black (and the white) to highlight the beautiful contrast. Then, of course, I did some planning. ;)

Iridescent Watercolor Comparison - Daniel Smith, Kuretake, & FineTec Kims Kreations 2016-10-31 | An impromptu video - started off playing with some of my new (to me) Daniel Smith iridescent and duochrome watercolors. Then, I decided to compare them to some other (similar?) watercolors from my stash - the Kuretaki Gansai Tambi Starry Colors, and the FineTec Pearl Colors. I compared them all on both white and black papers - what a difference!!! I was literally shocked to see how some of them popped on the black, when they were hardly visible on the white. Art Journaling in my Planner Again - Oct 23-30/16 Kims Kreations 2016-10-24 | I started by planning my page - I wanted to mask off sections of the page to make it look like missing bricks. I then added some red and black paint to the areas I was masking off. I used an old Crafter's Workshop 6x6 brick wall stencil and American craft paint (it's matte) and added some sparkly Pan Pastel to it, and sponged it through the stencil. I added the usual - washi tape and stickers, and called it done! :)

Art Journaling in my EC Planner Oct 17-23/16 Kims Kreations 2016-10-16 | This is much more of an art journal spread than a planner spread, but many of mine are! I started with a texture gel through a spider web-shaped stencil, to make the dimensional spider web. I then followed up with watercolours, washi, stickers, etc. in shades of green and purple. I REALLY love the way this one turned out!
