Music over intermittent pictures of men in a wood working shop.
I/v with a supervisor for workshop
The interviewee is a joiner to trade.
He says views on job creation scheme and passing on his skills.
I/v with another project group (construction site) but wind noise makes it difficult to hear.
Discusses job creation scheme - very short - over interview the sound engineer comments on the poor audio levels on a different track.
He then sings over the interview.
The following sounds like a final mix commentary for a documentary on the Craigmillar Arts Centre: Music.
I/v at Craigmillar Arts Centre - very short before audio returns to music.
V/o describing the different people working in the arts centre. - duration is only a couple of minutes before the track changes again to different sound effects such as a howling wind
picture blank.
Series of practice job interviews?:
I/v with Jimmy Burns, a young man learning different skills - mechanic.
He is in/v'd on his experience and his previous employment.
He is asked why he is interested in working with cars.
Another young man is i/v'd concerning his new job as an electrician's mate.
At intervals within the interviews the sound recordist can be heard training a young man.
Another young man is i/v'd on his job in construction.
Audio of a discussion over a man turning up for work under the influence of alcohol and incapable of performing his duties.
