Here's a 1978 Gottlieb Charlie's Angels pinball machine in action. This machine was designed by Allen Edwall with art by long-time Gottlieb superstar artist Gordon Morison.

Charlie's Angels was made as both a solid state and an electromechanical machine. There were very few of the EM version produced and they're very valuable now. The SS versions are plentiful and worth significantly less.

This game is pretty basic but has some interesting design features. In order to reset the right side drop targets, the "H" or "I" rollovers at the top must be spotted. Hitting the red drops down advances the bonus multiplier and hitting the bullseye target, when the bonus is over 11k, scores the bonus.

It's an interesting layout with some satisfying shots. Worth a few plays, anyway. I really like System 1 games and find them to be charming, even though there a bit on the simple side (or because they're simple).
