"Whilst you keep on working like this, you never get old".

A traditional bread baker in Canterbury, John Marder - aged 71, explains why he won't be retiring any time soon. With his ancient coal fueled oven, reportedly first built over 900 years ago, he bakes his simple two ingredient bread.

Out front in the shop John's mother, Edith Marder - aged 97, also won't entertain the idea of retirement.

Nationwide's Fyfe Robertson - a sprightly 69 - finds out what keeps them both going.
