Everything is hardwired: start/stop foot pedal, output cable (with 1/4" mono jack) and power cord. It has a little compartment in the back where you can stuff all the cables and pedal for carrying around with handle on top. The unit is front-heavy and has rubber feet on the back. So, I guess it was supposed to be laid flat on the back or mounted to a stand with a screw since there's a female screw socket on the center of the back. You can adjust the sounds with the trim pots inside including extending the bass drum sound like a tweaked-out Roland TR-808.
