1988 Lowrey LSM-1 MIDI Sound Expander Kawai PHm Pop Synth Module PCM Drum Machine
It's a sound module version of the Kawai PH-50 and Lowrey LS-50.
Features:
- 200 tones (some are very good; some are strange sound effects and loops)
- 30 rhythms each with intro and fill-in
- 50, user-editable (and save-able) combinations (up to four tones can be Split (up to 3 zones), Dual (2 tones layered for detuned or transposed), Layer (3 to 4 tones layered), Mix (combines Split and Layer ex. one tone across the entire range with different tones on top and bottom ranges) or Link (chain tones together for rapid changes via MIDI)
- 16 voice polyphony (max. in single sound mode)
- MIDI In/Out/Thru
- Expressive: with the ability to use velocity, aftertouch (pressure), pitch bend, modulation, volume pedal and sustain (hold) commands from controlling keyboard
