This little wicker basket was likely made in Shanghai in the 1970s. Inspired by 100-year-old storage ideas, I added a fabric liner from a thrifted pillow sham and a jute rope drawstring. Perfect for storing onions in my pantry! A simple, beautiful upcycle.
