This is 8mm amateur silent movie film footage of the 1960 USLTA Clay Courts Tennis mens singles finals which were played on July 24, 1960 at the River Forest Tennis Club in River Forest, IL. The latter part of the clip shows the mens doubles final.
Research shows that the singles winner was Barry MacKay who defeated Bernard Bartzen 4-6, 7-5, 6-4, 6-0 for National Clay Court title. Bartzen is the left-handed player in this clip. The doubles winners were Bob Hewitt & Martin Mulligan.
