This is amateur silent 8mm film of the June 11, 1955 Portland Rose Festival featuring former president Harry S. Truman and his wife Bess. Riding in the car with President Truman was Fred L. Peterson, the mayor of Portland.

Nancy Wyly was the Queen. She later became Nancy Ryles and served in the Oregon state legislature.
