My Disk Pendulum to my 1953 Anniversary Clock would not turn at all. Just a note, I think I could have just loosen the top of the pendulum to release the friction washer to make it turn easily, but went all the way and took the whole thing apart so you could see what the pendulum was made of.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not succoring the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challenge of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.
