New hardest on 1.9!!!! This level was fun and not fun. It was fun in the fact that the gameplay should have been good. Each individual section was alright to play. It was not fun in the fact that the gameplay was so horribly unbalanced that I ended up only dying at 7 different places in the level by the time I got consistent.
I died 6 times at Fruit and 2 times at the combined end ball.

This is the first really difficult thing that Ive beaten since my completion of Audio Extraction back in 2019. Im absolutely amazed that I pulled off beating this in just three days, especially because this in the top 250 hardest demons in the game (currently). As for whats next, I have no idea.
Also, for being one of the worst demons on the legacy list both deco-wise and gameplay-wise, this was kinda enjoyable to play.

Wasnt expecting this to be as fun as it was. The only issue with this level is how unbalanced it is, even with the update. The first ship and the dual in the predrop are a lot harder than the rest of the level

When playing Axolotl by Chamoylol, I was immediately impressed even as I just started the level. The first part includes a beautiful and bright mosaic of colors with excellent art of an axolotl in the background. To my delight, this quality and theme was carried out throughout the entire level, and it was a very enjoyable experience. For starters, the colors are done extremely well. Bright and flashy colors are present in every single part, but they arent oversaturated and they all fit nicely together. In addition to colors, the attention to detail in this level is outstanding. All of the background and foreground art in the level is clean, and each element of these detailed parts work with each other to create an encapsulating atmosphere. The characteristic of this level that stands out, however, is certainly its theming. The theming of the level revolves around both axolotls and general Mayan culture, and almost every design has a notable Mayan flare to it. What really drives the theme home, however, is the song that was chosen for the level. The song (The Storm by TheFatRat & Maisy Kay) really enhances the foreign feel of the level with the jungle-like beat and exotic language. While I really do like this level, it does have one downfall. Because the background and block design are both so detailed, it is sometimes hard to decipher what is the foreground and what is the background, making readability a bit difficult. Overall, I believe this level really stands out from other epic levels through its excellent theming and memorable designs. I truly enjoyed this level and am definitely looking forward to seeing what Chamoylol will make in the future.

Been wanting to beat this for quite a while to see what it was like. Turns out it is uh... not fun to learn. Some parts were an absolute pain to figure out, even after doing runs from 0. Also, I wouldve beaten this much faster had I not died past 70 as many times as I did (yes Im aware thats the easiest part). Overall this is currently the easiest extreme and should go back down to insane demon.

The longest I have spent building, playtesting, and verifying a level. Possibly the hardest platformer extreme. At least the second hardest one. I added an in-game practice mode so yall can actually learn the level, since the checkpoints are rather sparse.

Im going to be honest, Ive been looking forward to this level being released for a while. After playing a preview of this a few weeks ago, I could already tell that Bran was going to release a banger. Vera is characterized by Brans super unique style which uses simple block designs and flashy colors. Its honestly surprising how well Bran does some of his designs in this level, as some of them seem that they simply wouldnt work in concept. Notably, the colors are extremely unique, with rapidly changing colors and many vast contrasts between hues. Furthermore, the section where the only gameplay is spinning spikes is super original while still looking completely full and decorated. Another aspect of the level that I appreciate is the use of rainbow effects. Utilizing rainbow effects in a design level is honestly quite difficult, and Bran uses them near perfectly in the buildup to the drop and in the drop. The rainbows dont really stick out from the other designs at all, and each rainbow section matches the intensity of the song remarkably well. Another notable aspect of this level is the gameplay, which has its pros and cons. The gameplay is certainly original, utilizing some interesting fakes not often seen in levels. However, sometimes the gameplay feels a bit clunky and off-sync, which may hamper enjoyment slightly. Overall, this is some of the best work Ive seen from Bran: its unique, memorable, and has excellent replay value. I cant wait to see more from Bran in the future.
